The Lima Rotary Club's annual meeting is Monday, April 29. We must have 1/3 of the club's membership in attendance in order to have a quorum so we encourage you attend. We will be starting the meeting early at 11:45am because we will also be hosting the Allen Lima Youth Leadership graduation following the annual meeting. These students are our community's future leaders and their projects are always outstanding. Please be sure to attend!

It is an honor to serve as the 2023-2024 Lima Rotary Club President. This organization enriches the lives of all those who it touches – its members, its immediate community and the world. I am grateful to help lead the efforts this year and build upon the incredible success of my fellow Rotarians locally and abroad.
Never before has the need to be connected to one another been greater and Rotary supports meaningful engagement and impact through a variety of service projects – from local to global – as well as through club fellowship. We welcome the opportunity to share these experiences with others and invite you to learn more about how Rotarians are People of Action each Monday from 12-1 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Civic and Convention Center in downtown Lima.
This organization of more than 1.4 million members was established in 1905 with a vision that still leads us today: to provide people of diverse backgrounds a way to exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships. Today, the Lima Rotary Club is one of 46,000 clubs worldwide and supports projects including:
- The Greater Lima Region Amphitheatre
- The Rotary Riverwalk
- Rex Perry Memorial Golf Outing to support scholarships
- The All Abilities baseball league Field of Dreams
- Clean water and sanitation projects in underdeveloped countries
- Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad (MESA)
- Polio eradication
It is my hope that we can extend our impact into new projects through new members this year and that we can strengthen the partnerships we’ve already developed through our community grants program. Please follow us on social media for regular updates and plan to join us regularly and frequently for club, service and social events.
